Hope your 4th was a good one, everyone! I had the unexpected pleasure of being able to shop at this amazing place in Havre de Grace, MD (FYI it's pronounced Have-er duh Grace. No french accent, no rolling of the R's. Just plain old Have-er De Grace. But you say it real fast-- like one word. But again, I digress) . It's exactly halfway between my house and mom's house. Love that! As a matter of fact, I learned on this particular trip that that is exactly why the town motto is "The Meeting Place". Well, I assume not because of me and my mom, but who knows? Maybe it is!! It's the best place to meet up between north and south!
ANYWAY JoRetro is a vintage lover's paradise. And it is THE place to go for all of your VINTAGE PYREX needs! Well, Jolene explains it best right on her web page:

But LOOK what I found!
This treasure is now mine! The girls at the shop said they had just put it out that morning and it was love at first sight for me and this here packet of vintage ephemera. It's filled to the brim with all kinds of goodies...maps! In flight menus! Postcards! Informational brochures on the type of airplane you were riding in (the Air France Lockheed Constellation, also just FYI)! And that this traveler saved each piece all these years is so wonderful. Seriously, they just don't do business the way they used to anymore do they! Stay tuned for all kinds of decoupage projects from this pretty goldmine.
This is just one of the lovely treasures I found on the 4th, and rest assured I pretty much wanted EVERY ITEM in the dang place. But I left some for you all. You're welcome.
